Every collection explores a concept that directs the process of making. Each collection comprises of two elements - the OBJECTS (Tangible) and the STORIES (Intangible). Both the stories and the objects are handcrafted.
The OBJECTS are the tangible and physical element of a collection - inspired by concept / theme. The objects are handmade out of a range of materials exploring a variety of fabrication techniques and methods across many disciplines. These objects bear the stories of making in their final form, in each line, curve and corner. They are one of a kind.
The STORIES are the intangible element of a collection. They are a selection of short animated clips, sketches, photographs and written words that drive the process of making. They map the journey of the collection. They are narratives exploring the chosen concept, artistry and materials being used, exclusive to the collection.
Scribbles, musings, inspirations and snapshots of the process for each collection are shared in the blog: STUDIO JOURNAL.
